Dark sky is raining
The night just won't seem to end
This soul is broken

All Fall DownLook at the pathetic excuses for life, see how they scuttle and scurry across the ground; hungry little worker ants rushing to and fro. Except these hungry little worker ants don't give a shit for the rest of the nest, it is all about themselves. Pitiful creatures further down than little bees, further down than ants. Not that they realise it of course, for in the mind of man the human race is far superior.

What a sad testament to evolution; thousands of years of bodies and environment working together, adapting and changing, and this, THIS, is the result? Weak bodied, weak minded, embarrassingly pathetic life forms, oh how they praise thems

The sun sinks below
The horizon
But this day ends differently
Full of hope and
Not poison

Though the long cold
Night
And survive until dawn comes
Bringing with her new
Light

Counting the stars
Feel the breeze on my
Face

That can knock this smile from its

Standing facing into the dark

All along

It began with a kiss
Something innocent and gentle
But it changed all too quickly
Into something more substantial
It became frantic kisses
Stolen in the night
The rushing hands of lovers
Hidden out of sight
Promises of forever
Right within their grasp
Declarations of true love
Behind every sigh and gasp

But one fell too hard too fast
You could read it in their eyes
Whilst in the smiling face of the other
Lay only sugar coated lies
Secrets that became twisted
Spirally far out of control
Deceit burdening the heart
And freezing the soul
A love once so perfect
Now echoes with frost
As selfish shadow
